About
I’m a strategic advisor to artisan-led fashion brands, sustainable founders, and cultural institutions.
With over 15 years of experience at the intersection of sustainable fashion, curation, academia, and market strategy, I have a global perspective and a deep commitment to championing artisan and ethical fashion.
I have a passion for helping ethical brands build with depth and clarity. My work centres on translating cultural heritage into globally resonant positioning so that brands rooted in story, place, and craft can grow with integrity.
My practice supports artisan makers and the brands that work with them, bridging traditional craft, ethical business, and contemporary design to create a thriving, culturally-rooted fashion future.
Clients include artisan collectives, ethical founders, investors, accelerators, and institutions looking to align aesthetics, ethics, and brand value. I prefer a rigorous, high-touch advisory style, which gives me the ability to distil complexity into a simple, memorable narrative.
Why Work With Me?
My experience in Africa, Asia & Europe has given me a unique combination of experience and perspective. From sourcing high-volume production in China to developing handmade crafts with communities in Southeast Asia.
With over 10,000 hours of teaching, I have experience breaking down key terms, simplifying fashion industry jargon, and mentoring entrepreneurs to find their own unique solutions.
I have a network of experts you can draw on across design, sustainability, business and fashion.

Who Made Your clothes? collaboration with mandala private memebers club
I collaborated with Singapore’s Mandala Club, a private members’ space, to co-curate an art exhibition showcasing two photographers and a contemporary artist. The exhibition invited reflection and conversation around fashion’s impact on the planet.
To complement the exhibition, we hosted a panel discussion exploring the complexities of the fashion supply chain. The combination of thought-provoking art, expert insights, and networking in an elevated setting made the event a standout experience.
My role included co-curating the artists alongside the Culture Manager, securing speakers, and overseeing event delivery on the day with support from the club’s team.
Eco Fashion Weekend 2024 / 2025
Eco Fashion Weekend SG came about as a test to see if ethical brands could work as a collective to raise awareness and celebrate the advocates trying
A three-day event, including a panel discussion in collaboration with a private members club, the Eco Fashion Weekend runway show, awards ceremony and family-friendly workshops. The event is entirely run by volunteers who believe in the cause.
I developed the event concept, curated the brands, managed the volunteers, and handled marketing communications.

Founder Emi Weir had a clear objective in mind, and that was to refresh the company’s website design and e-commerce strategy. The pandemic had created an incentive to reassess the brand’s website and improve the product photography. Based abroad we worked together remotely to develop a plan for the website. I was able to put a team together in Singapore and develop lifestyle photography to show how the brand could fit into people’s lives within an urban context.

Bravo Collective
The design problem was to find the correct brand message and express it creatively for the Singapore context. As a brand selling premium, hand-embroidered linen from Europe, the collection’s value proposition had to be positioned as premium yet easy-to-wear in the tropics. Traditional embroidered linen lasts for decades and can become a precious heirloom. Bravo Collection’s range of wearable garments can also be worn in a modern context from ‘beach to boardroom’.
A fashion shoot can be daunting for new entrepreneurs. I helped Nadia with developing a vision for her campaign to express the brand message. This included organising the photo shoot, selecting the photographer, hair & makeup, styling, producing the shoot and organizing a collaboration with Sofitel Sentosa.

Clynn By Nature
After attending a branding workshop, I was able to help Lynn clarify and refine the company’s brand strategy. Understanding the unique selling point, competitors, and distribution was critical to helping Lynn clarify the meaning for consumers to keep the recognised brand elements. The final brand management strategy was to create unified but distinct product packaging to better promote the premium positioning.
I helped Lynn source a graphic design agency, Studio Realize, and write the creative brief to ensure a smooth design process. Once the product packaging was refreshed, supporting collaterals for pop-ups and store displays were designed.

Wanderlust Hotel, 8M Group
This project came about to continue my post-graduate research in Innovation In Practice. A unique opportunity to create a strategy for the property in the context of the travel industry, the hotel market in Singapore and current international design trends.
A wholly collaborative project, the final design solution included proposing a new business model, brand identity strategy which, if utilized could have been a future-proof solution to the pandemic
This was purely a research project to prove the concept of radical collaboration and the power of design to solve wicked problems for businesses facing uncertainty.

Artisan Singapore 2019
To elevate Singapore-based fashion brands I developed an event that would allow local designers to work with artists and communicate their brands differently. The first of its kind, the two-day event was held at the Tencel™ Studio, Level 2 Cocoon Space at Design Orchard, Singapore. With a team of amazing student volunteers, I curated an exhibition of contemporary art, dance, photography and a pop-up market.
